RML is Building a Gym

Gym Groundbreaking

October 2023 -- RML's Board Chairman, Pastor Paul Biedenbender, led us in dedicating our new gym to God's glory and reminded us about the blessings of building on the solid rock foundation of God's Word.

Construction Update

August 2023 -- Our Site Plan has (finally) been approved by the City!  Join us in praising God that this monumental milestone has been achieved.  We still have a few permits to complete, but this was the first and most significant one.  We are planning our Ground Breaking Ceremony for October 15, 2023.  More details to come!

Capital Campaign Progress

Rocky is in the second year of a three year capital campaign to build a multi-purpose gym facility.   We recently received approval for a loan to bridge the gap in our fundraising, however, it's not too late to contribute and help us minimize our debt and cost of borrowing.

What's Included in the Gym Cost of $2.6M?

Site Work and Foundation

Electrical and lighting, plumbing, HVAC

Gym building and floor

A full-size basketball/volleyball court with two side-by-side practice courts

Walkway that connects gym to south side of school to utilize existing bathrooms (cost savings)

Bleachers and Scoreboard

Portable stage, lighting, and sound system

Basketball hoops and volleyball nets

Campaign Prayer

Lord God, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. In your faithful and perfect love, you sent your Son, Jesus, to be the foundation of our hope, peace, joy and love. We give you thanks for your countless blessings over the past 20 years at our school, we also dare to be bold in asking that you would bless our current campaign in sharing the story of the ministry of the school and seeking to build up our campus to further serve our students. We pray that you would move the hearts of your people to support these efforts in their prayers and with their offerings. Apart from you, we can do nothing. With your blessing, we are confident that you can do more than we can even ask or imagine. Keep us humble, mindful, grateful, joyful, and trusting in Your will as we commit our plans into your gracious and powerful hands. In Jesus’ name and to His glory! Amen.
